Associate Underwriter Underwriter Transactional Liability

This role offers an opportunity to join a transactional liability team underwriting Mergers & Acquisitions insurance, including Warranty and Indemnity and Tax Insurance products. The successful candidate will review transaction materials, assess risk profiles, draft and negotiate W&I policies, and manage underwriting processes across various industry sectors and deal values, primarily serving London and UK markets. The position involves collaboration with outside counsel and specialist advisors, relationship development with brokers and clients, and active participation in industry events. The ideal candidate brings one to three years of W&I insurance experience in an analyst, underwriter, or broker capacity. A background in law, economics, accounting, or M&A is valued but not essential. The role demands strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
