This role offers an opportunity to join a Lloyd's of London underwriting team as a Cargo Executive Underwriter, reporting to the Cargo Class Leader. The position combines underwriting portfolio management with business development across global markets including the UK, Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. Key responsibilities include underwriting cargo business in line with strategic objectives, building and maintaining broker and client relationships, contributing to portfolio strategy, monitoring performance metrics, and developing new products and technology solutions. The role also involves regular travel for client engagement and industry participation. The hiring team seeks candidates with established cargo underwriting experience in the Lloyd's and London Market, proven success in building profitable relationships, and strong technical expertise. Applications are welcome from Executive or Senior underwriters, ambitious mid-level underwriters, and experienced cargo brokers moving into underwriting roles.
