The position involves managing a diverse portfolio of protection and indemnity claims, including Jones Act matters, third-party injuries, collisions, and casualty cases, with exposure to complex and high-value disputes. The successful candidate will handle claims independently while maintaining strong relationships with members and supporting junior team members through mentoring. The ideal candidate brings prior experience in personal injury claims, shipping litigation, or dispute resolution from P&I clubs, law firms, insurers, or maritime organisations. Strong communication skills, meticulous organisation, and self-direction are essential.
