This role involves managing a portfolio of insurance claims from initial investigation through to final settlement. The successful candidate will process claims fairly and promptly in line with policy terms, assess liability based on evidence, and negotiate with third parties to reach appropriate outcomes. Responsibilities include maintaining claim reserves, identifying potential fraud, and escalating complex matters while providing compassionate support to customers during stressful circumstances. The ideal candidate brings empathy, strong communication skills, and confident decision-making ability. Experience in motor insurance claims, including liability assessment and subrogation, is preferred, along with proven capability in caseload management, investigation, negotiation, and fraud detection.
