This role offers an opportunity to lead delegated underwriting programs and managing general agent relationships at a specialist insurer. Reporting to the Head of Program Management, the successful candidate will oversee MGA onboarding, monitor performance against key metrics, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The position involves cross-functional collaboration with legal, underwriting, claims, and business development teams to negotiate agreements and develop MGA standards. Additional responsibilities include risk assessment, market research, performance reporting to senior management, and providing underwriting guidance to enhance partner capabilities. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or risk management, with at least three years of experience in program management, underwriting, or MGA operations. Strong expertise in multi-class insurance products, underwriting principles, and insurance regulations is essential. The role demands excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities, combined with demonstrated relationship management skills and a customer-centric approach. Project management proficiency, adaptability, and collaborative leadership qualities are key to success in this dynamic environment.
