About this role
This role offers an opportunity for an experienced Energy Casualty Underwriter to advance their career within a specialist insurer's London-based team. Reporting to the Head of Energy Casualty, the successful candidate will underwrite complex new and renewal business, engage with brokers across the London market, and mentor junior underwriters to develop team capability. The position involves collaborating with internal teams on initiatives aligned to the international energy casualty sector and building strong relationships with brokers and policyholders. The ideal candidate will have established London Market experience and technical expertise in Energy Casualty underwriting, supported by strong communication and influencing skills. CII qualification or demonstrable progress toward professional credentials is expected. A customer-focused approach and the ability to represent the organisation effectively in the market are essential.
