About this role
This role offers the opportunity to work across all aspects of small and medium-sized enterprise commercial insurance broking. The successful candidate will manage client and insurer relationships, handle placements across property, liability, financial lines, and fleet insurance, and contribute to business development. The position may also involve leading account handler teams. Applicants should bring at least five years of commercial insurance broking experience in the SME sector, with established insurer contacts and underwriting knowledge. Essential requirements include the ability to produce high-quality market presentations, proficiency with Acturis or comparable systems, strong IT skills, and a valid driving license with access to own transport. CII qualifications or part-qualifications are desirable. The hiring team values excellent communication, negotiation skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Performance will be measured by new business conversion, renewal retention, and customer satisfaction.
