This role offers an opportunity to lead the technical pricing function at a motor and home insurance specialist. The Head of Technical Pricing Projects will drive strategic pricing initiatives that support business growth and profitability, overseeing burn cost models, rating structure design, and data enrichment programmes. Key responsibilities include managing the technical pricing team, collaborating with claims and reinsurance functions to refine frequency and severity assumptions, evaluating external data providers, and establishing geographic concentration risk controls. The successful candidate will communicate emerging claims insights across the organisation and advise on commercial optimisation opportunities. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in rating structures, data mapping, and third-party risk data providers, with strong proficiency in WTW Radar. A proven track record managing personal lines portfolios, combined with excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical topics, is essential. The role requires capability in insurance price modelling and demonstrated team leadership experience, along with knowledge of SMCR compliance requirements.
