This role offers an opportunity to manage outward reinsurance placement activity for a rapidly growing algorithmic insurance carrier operating in the Lloyd's market. The Outwards Reinsurance Manager will oversee the day-to-day execution of reinsurance programmes across all business lines, working closely with underwriting, brokers, and reinsurers to ensure appropriate risk protection structures. Key responsibilities include executing placement processes, generating management information for strategic planning, identifying financial risks, developing alternative risk transfer solutions, and maintaining relationships with key external partners. The ideal candidate will hold or be actively pursuing the ACII qualification and possess strong expertise in outward reinsurance placement within the London Market or Lloyd's environment. They should demonstrate broad knowledge of property, casualty, and specialty lines, alongside understanding of catastrophe modelling and exposure management. Excellent analytical skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and reinsurance systems are essential. The role suits a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively across internal and external teams.
