PI Technical Claims Team Leader (12 Month FTC)
About this role
This role offers an opportunity to lead a personal injury claims team within a motor insurance operations department. You will manage and motivate a group of claims negotiators, oversee delivery of business plans and performance targets, and maintain reporting standards for KPIs and service levels. Responsibilities include conducting quality audits, handling complex claims, identifying fraud, managing team performance and disciplinary matters, and driving process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in motor personal injury claims and team management, with familiarity in ACPC reporting, claims file auditing, and relevant industry systems and portals. You should demonstrate strong leadership and negotiation skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach. The position is full-time, initially office-based for three months, then transitioning to hybrid working arrangements.
