Senior Non Natural Catastrophe Analyst

This role sits within the risk aggregation team at a leading algorithmic insurance carrier, supporting underwriters with fast and accurate exposure data and risk analysis. You will manage non-natural catastrophe exposures such as cyber risk, develop and validate scenario-based models, and collaborate across underwriting and analytics to maintain a consistent view of risk. Key responsibilities include monitoring emerging threats, producing management information reports, building dashboards for data visualization, and supporting product development and new revenue opportunities through cross-functional work. The ideal candidate holds a degree and brings insurance experience in exposure management, catastrophe modelling, or portfolio management. You will need advanced technical skills in Excel, VBA, and SQL, with other programming languages desirable. Strong numeracy, communication, and project management abilities are essential, along with the capability to prioritize independently and manage third parties effectively to meet tight deadlines.
