This role offers an opportunity to join a corporate and specialty insurer modernizing its underwriting practices through technology and innovation. The successful candidate will underwrite and manage individual risks within authority guidelines, develop new business pipelines, and deliver customer and broker propositions including global programme management. The position involves analyzing emerging opportunities in digital solutions, staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments, and participating in internal committees and projects. The ideal candidate brings liability underwriting or broking experience, supported by CII qualification or equivalent expertise in underwriting, contract law, and regulatory matters. Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities are essential, alongside comprehensive insurance knowledge and technical understanding of policy construction. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, team collaboration abilities, and a willingness to travel internationally for client meetings. Applications are welcomed at both Underwriter and Senior Underwriter levels.
