This role offers an opportunity for an experienced underwriter to join a growing insurance business as a Technical Underwriter on an initial 12-month contract. The successful candidate will take on a senior position within the technical underwriting team, working across system maintenance, quality assurance, and product governance. Key responsibilities include updating underwriting guides and systems, conducting quality reviews and risk controls, supporting product lifecycle management, and collaborating on group transformation initiatives to migrate product specifications. The ideal candidate will have proven underwriting experience, preferably in commercial or property sectors. The role involves close collaboration with technical, trading, and claims teams to ensure regulatory compliance, maintain documentation standards, manage endorsements, and support system testing and performance reporting. The position offers hybrid working flexibility and is based with a specialist insurer within a larger group.
