About this role
This role offers an opportunity to join an insurance broker as an Underwriter, based in the Newcastle region, managing and developing a renewal portfolio across multiple specialist sectors including farm and estate, commercial, equine, and leisure. The successful candidate will work closely with the broking team to expand the business, cross-train across various underwriting binders, and help establish new products while building strong relationships with insurers and account executives. The ideal candidate brings prior insurance industry experience, ideally in farm and estate or commercial underwriting, alongside a strong appetite for learning and problem-solving. Excellent communication and collaborative skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively across teams on client-focused projects. A Cert CII qualification is preferred.
